It's a new season!!

Well, it’s the start of a new season, and we hope you’ve had a nice winter. The phone has begun ringing, and the emails have started pouring in, with requests from past guests eager to secure their spots for some of our more limited prime fisheries. I mean limited by windows of opportunity on certain systems, run timing, and just my plain old availability. If your interested in returning on your previous dates, or you are looking for any info on guided fishing opportunities,  please contact us as soon as possible.
We will doing our spring Columbia river packages at the end of April and beginning of May again this year. This amazing trout fishery must be tried at least  once if you love chasing big rainbows on every method known to fly fisherman. Contact us for available left.

We are booking lots of dates for our spring fisheries for cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, dollie varden, and steelhead on various local flows in the Fraser Valley.

We have lots of space for sea run bull trout on the Upper Pitt, but are available dates for the salmon fishery are very limited, so you must act quickly if you are planning on taking a trip to this incredible venue this summer! Please contact us for available dates left.

The fall salmon fishery on our local flows for chinook, coho, chum salmon, are almost sold out for my boat but I do have 2 great associate guides willing to help out with the overflow, so please contact us soon to reserve a spot. We also are very optimistic that we will have a chance to fish for sockeye salmon on the Fraser this summer so stay tuned for availability as August approaches.

And then there is sturgeon fishing :) We are so excited to be working with 2 of the best sturgeon guides in the Fraser Valley this season!! I know that is one big claim to make, but these 2 guys probably guide more days for sturgeon than anybody around, and have tagged more fish for the mark recapture program being done by the Fraser River Sturgeon Conservation Society than any members of the team! So rest assured if you want to book a sturgeon trip, you will be in very capable hands. We are blessed to be able to catch sturgeon 12 months of the year, so give us a call anytime and we will see that you catch some :) We are also offering a spring special for sturgeon this year. Most of our fishing in the spring  takes place on the lower Fraser where feeding activity differs greatly based on the tides. There is almost always a hot 4-5 hour period, a couple times each day where sturgeon feed more aggressively, so we are offering short trips based on the tides to head out, get sore arms, then head in. Contact us for details and availability.

We are working with some great accommodations as well this season, if your planning a multi day adventure, let us build a package to suite your holiday.

We hope to hear from you, and can’t wait to spend some time on the water making all your fishing dreams from this winter come true!!

September salmon on the fly!

Well the salmon fishing on the fly has been nothing short of spectacular! 25 to 75 fish days have been the norm for 1-2 anglers :)
We have landed some nice early coho salmon on the fly this week, so it's looking like it should be a great season for them as well.
Although we haven't hooked one yet, we have seen quite a few chum salmon starting to roll around too, so it shouldn't be long before
we are battling those brutes on the fly!! All of my guests can't say enough good things about the new rods on board this season.
The LOOP Cross S1 series has been our go to rod for salmon, and on a guide boat you see all kinds of rod mishaps.... These ones are
still going strong!! Can't believe the abuse they can take, just incredible. October is just around the corner, so if you want to book a
trip for coho, and chum salmon on the fly, act fast as we only have a few dates left.

Back from a week of fly fishing the Columbia river BC

We are back from a terrific week on the Columbia river, in the west Kootenays of BC. The weather was very sporadic, with everything from snow, to blazing sun! The bug hatches were much the same, sporadic! It didn't seem to matter though, as we landed great fish day in, and day out on Mayflies, Stoneflies, Ants, and a variety of streamers. We saw bear, deer, mountain goats, wild turkeys, and a beaver. Everyone had a great time, and can't wait to return next year.
